Volkswagen is gearing up to unveil its 2025 Tiguan on November 20th, ahead of its official debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. To build anticipation, the automaker has released a teaser image showcasing the vehicle’s distinctive taillight design.
The taillights, which closely resemble those of the European Tayron, feature a striking LED light signature with a bold red accent. This design element hints at the Tiguan’s more aggressive and rugged styling compared to its predecessor.
While specific details about the 2025 Tiguan are still under wraps, it’s confirmed that the model will be based on a long-wheelbase version of the Tayron. This platform will underpin a more spacious interior, potentially accommodating up to seven passengers.
The interior of the Tayron, which serves as a strong reference point for the Tiguan, boasts a modern and minimalist design. Key features include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.9-inch infotainment system, ambient lighting, a tri-zone climate control system, a panoramic sunroof, and premium materials like open-pore wood trim.
On the technology front, the Tayron offers a comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, and more.
As we eagerly await the full reveal of the 2025 Tiguan, it’s clear that Volkswagen is aiming to elevate the crossover segment with a stylish, technologically advanced, and spacious offering.
