Tata Motors has achieved a significant milestone with the production of 5 lakh units of its popular micro-SUV, the Tata Punch. Since its launch in October 2021, the Punch has consistently demonstrated strong sales performance, solidifying its position as a key player in Tata’s passenger vehicle portfolio.
The Punch’s success can be attributed to its diverse powertrain options, including internal combustion engine (ICE), electric (EV), and iCNG variants. This versatility has resonated with a wide range of customers, contributing to its rapid growth in the market.
A Journey of Consistent Growth:
The Punch has consistently surpassed sales milestones. Within 10 months of its launch, it achieved the 1 lakh unit mark. The introduction of the CNG variant in 2023 further fueled its popularity, propelling sales beyond the 2 lakh mark. By December 2023, the Punch had already sold 3 lakh units.
