Tata Motors has further enhanced its flagship SUV offerings, the Harrier and Safari, by expanding their ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite. These SUVs, which already boast 11 ADAS features, now gain two additional safety features: adaptive steering assist with lane centering and lane-keeping assist.
The adaptive steering assist with lane centering actively maintains the vehicle within its lane, enhancing safety and reducing driver fatigue. The system utilizes a multi-purpose camera to detect lane markings and adjust steering input as needed. The lane-keeping assist system works in conjunction with the adaptive steering assist to provide additional support, helping the driver stay within the lane by monitoring the vehicle’s position and applying subtle steering corrections or brake interventions.
In addition to the expanded ADAS suite, Tata Motors has introduced new color options for both the Harrier and Safari. The Harrier’s Smart and Pure trims now come in Coral Red and Pebble Grey, alongside the existing Lunar White and Ash Grey. The Adventure and Fearless trims offer the new Ash Grey color, while the top-end Fearless trim is available in Seaweed Green.
The Safari’s Smart and Pure trims are now offered in Galactic Sapphire and Stardust Ash. The Adventure and Accomplished variants feature the new Lunar Slate color, and the top-end Accomplished trim is exclusively available in Supernova Copper.
Both SUVs continue to be powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder diesel engine that delivers 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Tata Harrier is priced between ₹14.99 lakh and ₹25.89 lakh, while the Safari is priced between ₹15.49 lakh and ₹26.79 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
