Nissan X-Trail

Nissan is revving up for the highly anticipated launch of the fourth-generation X-Trail SUV in India. Just ahead of its official debut, a new teaser video offers a tantalizing glimpse inside the SUV, revealing a comprehensively redesigned cabin.

Luxurious Comfort Awaits

The teaser showcases a sophisticated dashboard featuring a soft-touch finish and a modern touchscreen infotainment system for a truly premium feel. Passengers can enjoy the comfort of automatic climate control and individual vents, while a three-spoke steering wheel provides a commanding driving position. The ambiance is further enhanced by a panoramic dual-pane sunroof, bathing the interior in natural light and creating an airy atmosphere.

Striking Design Elements

Building on the excitement, a previous teaser unveiled the X-Trail’s bold and contemporary exterior design. Sleek dual-tone alloy wheels grab attention, complemented by the signature Nissan V-motion front grille with a chrome finish. The SUV boasts striking LED daytime running lights, distinctive C-shaped cutouts on the bumper, and stylish wraparound tail lamps with LED accents. Sharp LED headlamps positioned lower in the split cluster round out the vehicle’s modern and dynamic look.

Advanced Features and Enhanced Performance

The X-Trail promises a multitude of features for a truly connected and safe driving experience. Expect sophisticated touches like dual-tone alloy wheels, elegant wraparound tail lamps, rugged door cladding, and an integrated spoiler for improved aerodynamics. A strategically placed radar module in the lower grille hints at the potential inclusion of the Nissan Shield 360-degree ADAS suite, offering a comprehensive range of advanced driver-assistance systems.

This latest iteration boasts an impressive size, measuring 4680mm in length, 2065mm in width, and 1725mm in height. It rides on larger 19-inch alloy wheels and offers a spacious wheelbase of 2705mm, translating to ample legroom and cargo space for passengers and luggage alike.

Engineered for Efficiency and Power

Under the hood, the India-bound X-Trail is expected to be equipped with a powerful 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, churning out 201bhp and 305Nm of torque. This engine will likely be paired with a CVT gearbox for smooth and efficient power delivery. Built on the lightweight Alliance CMF-C platform, the X-Trail offers a variety of engine options globally, including a hybrid variant. However, the 1.5-liter turbo-petrol option seems tailor-made for the Indian market, catering to the demand for performance and fuel efficiency.
