MG Motor has introduced the Majestor, a new flagship SUV, at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Positioned above the existing Gloster, the Majestor aims to compete with premium SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner Legender, Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian, and Nissan X-Trail.

While sharing the Gloster’s boxy silhouette, the Majestor boasts a distinct exterior. Chrome accents have been minimized, and the front fascia has been completely redesigned with a larger, blacked-out grille and vertically stacked LED headlamps. Sleek LED DRLs and a rugged bash plate further enhance its imposing presence.

The interior features a 12.3-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system and a customizable digital instrument cluster. Premium amenities include ventilated and heated seats, a massaging driver’s seat, a panoramic sunroof, a premium sound system, wireless charging, multi-zone climate control, and an electric tailgate.

Safety features are comprehensive, encompassing ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) such as 6 airbags, hill hold control, electronic stability program, hill descent control, driver fatigue warning, traction control, roll movement intervention, and a 360° around-view camera.

Powering the Majestor is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine producing 216 hp and 479 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. While rear-wheel drive is standard, a 4×4 option with three lockable differentials will be available.
