Mazda has introduced a refreshed version of its third-generation BT-50 pickup truck for 2025. The updated model features a more refined exterior design, enhanced interior amenities, and upgraded safety features.
The BT-50’s exterior receives a visual overhaul, aligning it more closely with Mazda’s Kodo design language. New LED headlights, a redesigned grille, and a revised bumper with an air curtain improve its aesthetic appeal and fuel efficiency. The rear features a revamped tailgate and LED lights, along with prominent Mazda logos. The truck is now available in three new colors: Red Earth Metallic, Geode White Pearl, and Sailing Blue Metallic.

Inside, the BT-50 boasts a larger 9-inch infotainment system, a 7.0-inch instrument cluster screen, and wireless Android Auto connectivity. The interior materials have also been upgraded for a more premium feel.

Safety features have been enhanced with the addition of Rear Cross Traffic Brake, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and improved auto emergency braking. The lane-keeping assist system now operates more effectively without relying solely on road markings.

Under the hood, the BT-50 retains its previous powertrain options: a 1.9-liter turbodiesel engine and a 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine, paired with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
The 2025 Mazda BT-50 is expected to arrive in Australia in the first quarter of 2025, with pricing and specific details to be announced closer to the launch date.
