The Tokyo Auto Salon, renowned for its extravagant automotive creations, is set to witness another audacious display. This year, Liberty Walk takes center stage with a radical widebody kit for the iconic Lamborghini Miura, a car often hailed as one of the most beautiful ever made. Unveiled in late November, this controversial transformation has already sparked heated debate among automotive enthusiasts.
Following their successful widebody kits for the Ferrari F40 and Lamborghini Countach, Liberty Walk has now turned its attention to the legendary Miura. While the company undoubtedly possesses the technical expertise, it remains to be seen if any existing Miura owners will embrace such a drastic modification.
The “LB-Silhouette Works GT” kit for the Miura encompasses a comprehensive overhaul of the classic Italian supercar’s exterior. This includes a dramatic front splitter, aggressive canards, and significantly widened front fenders. Deep-dish aftermarket wheels further enhance the car’s aggressive stance. The bold styling continues with aerodynamic side skirts, miniature motorsport-inspired door mirrors, and a completely redesigned rear clamshell featuring flared arches and a prominent diffuser.
True to Liberty Walk’s signature style, the Miura boasts a towering rear wing with uprights extending from the rear bumper. It’s also speculated that the car has been lowered on an air suspension system, although confirmation awaits its official debut in Tokyo.
Liberty Walk has a proven track record of generating significant online buzz, regardless of whether the public response is overwhelmingly positive or negative. One thing is certain: their Miura build is guaranteed to be a major talking point at this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon.
