Land Rover has unveiled a limited-edition Range Rover, the SV Orpheus Edition, exclusively for the Australian market. Only six of these bespoke SUVs will be produced, each inspired by the remote Orpheus Island.
Beyond the vehicle itself, owners of the Orpheus Edition will receive a unique gift: a replica of an underwater sculpture by Jason deCaires Taylor. This sculpture, featuring an indigenous woman named Jayme Marshall, serves as a symbol of marine conservation and currently resides off the coast of North Queensland.
The Orpheus Edition boasts a striking exterior design with a Blue Gloss paint job, a silver roof, and 23-inch Dark Grey alloy wheels. The interior is equally luxurious, featuring Perlino-colored quilted leather seats, a Natural Cream Ash Burr steering wheel, and white ceramic controls.
Under the hood, the Orpheus Edition packs a powerful twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine, delivering 570 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. This enables a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 4.5 seconds.
The unveiling of the Orpheus Edition took place at a private luxury residence on Orpheus Island, where a select group of guests were invited to experience the exclusive vehicle.
While the pricing for the Orpheus Edition starts at AU$ 520,561, making it the most expensive Range Rover in Australia, it offers a unique blend of luxury, performance, and artistic significance.
