For the year 2023, from January to October, Kia India has recorded a total of 2,19,702 units in sales.

Kia India is celebrating a significant achievement, as it recently reported its fourth-highest monthly sales in the domestic market for October 2023, with a total of 24,351 units sold. This outstanding performance can be attributed to the strong demand during the festive season and the remarkable growth witnessed by the newly facelifted Seltos midsize SUV. The company's performance marked a 4.41% year-on-year increase compared to the same period the previous year when they sold 23,323 units.

Leading the charge for Kia India was the popular Kia Seltos, which recorded a total of 12,362 units sold. It was followed by the Sonet with 6,493 units, the Carens with 5,355 units, and the EV6 electric crossover with 141 units. This robust sales performance reflects the continued success of Kia's product lineup in their respective segments.

Hardeep Singh Brar, National Head of Sales & Marketing at Kia India, expressed his satisfaction with the company's performance, stating, "During the festive season, our customers' positive outlook has helped us achieve our fourth-highest monthly sales ever in India. The fact that our products like the Seltos, Sonet, and Carens continue to dominate in their respective segments, despite multiple new launches by the competition, is a major accomplishment. We are working towards maintaining the same momentum in the coming months."

For the year 2023, from January to October, Kia India has recorded a total of 2,19,702 units in sales. The Seltos made a significant contribution to this figure, with 83,250 units sold. The Sonet compact SUV followed closely with 73,333 units, while the Carens added a substantial 60,817 units to the overall sales.

Kia's journey in the Indian market began with mass production commencing in August 2019. Their Anantapur plant in Andhra Pradesh, with an annual production capacity of three lakh units, has been instrumental in achieving this milestone. To date, the company has dispatched over ten lakh vehicles, with more than 7.5 lakh units intended for the domestic market and nearly 2.5 lakh for export. This underlines Kia's commitment to delivering quality vehicles to both the domestic and international markets.

Kia India's extensive sales network boasts 432 touchpoints across 213 cities, ensuring that the brand remains accessible and visible to a wide customer base.

Looking ahead, Kia has exciting plans for the Indian market. In early 2024, they plan to launch the facelifted version of the Sonet, further enhancing their product portfolio. The company has also confirmed the introduction of three new products in the near future, with the new-generation Carnival expected to be among them. This model will succeed the third-gen Carnival, which was discontinued in India a few months ago.

Kia India's exceptional performance in October 2023 and throughout the year reflects the brand's commitment to delivering quality vehicles that resonate with Indian consumers. With new launches on the horizon and a strong product lineup, Kia is poised to continue its impressive journey in the Indian automotive market.
