The Kia Carens is set to receive a significant update, with test mules spotted undergoing rigorous road trials in India. The facelift promises a refreshed design, featuring redesigned LED headlamps with a sleek light bar, a revised grille, and updated rear styling with connected LED tail lamps. While the overall silhouette remains largely unchanged, the Carens facelift will sport new alloy wheel designs and subtle tweaks to the front and rear bumpers.
Interior Upgrades and Advanced Features
While specific interior details remain under wraps, the Carens facelift is expected to receive a refreshed cabin with new upholstery options and potentially a revised dashboard layout. Kia is likely to introduce a range of advanced features, including a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver’s display, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist.
Powertrain to Remain Unchanged
The Carens facelift is expected to continue with the existing engine options: a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. These engines are likely to be paired with manual and automatic transmission options.
