Jeep has launched a special Anniversary Edition of the Compass in India to commemorate eight years of the SUV’s presence in the country. This limited-run model features visual enhancements and exclusive accessories to differentiate it from the standard version. Bookings for the Compass Anniversary Edition are now open both online and at authorized Jeep dealerships.
Priced at Rs 25.26 lakh for the manual transmission and Rs 27.26 lakh for the automatic transmission, the Anniversary Edition is based on the Longitude (O) variant. This means it offers a premium over the standard model, which is priced at Rs 24.83 lakh and Rs 26.83 lakh respectively.
The Anniversary Edition boasts a distinctive appearance with a dual-tone hood decal and a Velvet Red accent on the grille. Inside, it features Velvet Red seat covers and a range of accessories including an integrated dashcam and white ambient lighting. While the Anniversary Edition is available with both manual and automatic transmissions, it is only offered with front-wheel drive.
Under the hood, the Compass Anniversary Edition is powered by a 2.0-liter diesel engine that produces 170 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Compass competes with rivals such as the Volkswagen Tiguan, Hyundai Tucson, Tata Harrier, and Mahindra XUV700.
