INEOS Automotive has announced that production of its Grenadier and Quartermaster models will resume in early January 2025, following a temporary halt in September due to a critical component shortage.
The company has successfully resolved the supply chain issue and is now ready to restart operations at its plant in Hambach, France.
“We are delighted to have found a solution to the component shortage,” said Lynn Calder, CEO of INEOS Automotive. “While automotive supply chains are notoriously complex, we were committed to maintaining our quality standards. We are confident that this is the best possible outcome.”
INEOS Automotive has experienced significant growth in 2024, with sales surpassing the entire 2023 figure by the summer. The company is on track to deliver over 20,000 Grenadiers by the end of the year. With plans to expand into new markets like China, Mexico, and the US, 2025 is poised to be a pivotal year for the company.
INEOS Automotive’s Hambach facility produces a range of models, including the Grenadier station wagon, Quartermaster double-cab pickup, and Quartermaster double-cab chassis, which are exported to customers worldwide.
