India Gears Up for Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: A Showcase of Innovation and Electric Mobility

The second edition of the Bharat Mobility Expo, set to unfold from January 17th to 22nd, 2025, is poised to become India’s largest automotive exhibition to date. This grand event will bring together a diverse array of industry players, including over 34 automakers, 800 original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and 1,000 brands, spanning an impressive 21.5 lakh square feet across three prominent locations in the National Capital Region (NCR): Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan, and the India International Convention & Expo Centre in Dwarka.

Anticipating a footfall of five lakh visitors, the expo will serve as a pivotal platform for automakers to showcase their latest innovations and unveil exciting new models.

Key Highlights from Major Players:

  • Maruti Suzuki: The spotlight will be on the much-awaited e Vitara, Maruti’s inaugural electric SUV, developed based on the eVX electric concept. This model is expected to compete with rivals like the Tata Curvv.ev, Hyundai Creta EV, and MG Windsor.  
  • Hyundai: Hyundai plans to unveil the new Creta EV ahead of the expo and subsequently showcase it at the event alongside the Ioniq 6 and Ioniq 9, both making their Indian debuts.  
  • Tata Motors: Tata Motors will likely showcase the Sierra EV and Avinya concepts, providing further insights into their development.
  • Mahindra: The recently launched Mahindra EV 6 and EV 9e, along with the electric concept of the new Mahindra XUV700 EV, are expected to be showcased.  
  • Kia: Kia will launch the recently introduced Syros subcompact SUV at the expo, alongside the Kia EV9 and the recently launched Kia Carnival.  
  • MG Motor: MG Motor is expected to showcase the Cyberster coupe, renowned for its impressive 0-100 kmph acceleration in just 3.2 seconds.
  • Toyota: The highly anticipated new-generation Fortuner is expected to make its appearance, featuring a refreshed design and advanced features like a 360-degree camera and a larger touchscreen.
  • Volkswagen: Volkswagen will showcase its electric SUV range, the ID.4 and ID.6, offering impressive range and performance capabilities.  
  • Skoda: Skoda will unveil a series of new models, including the recently introduced Skoda Kylaq, the Skoda Kodiaq SUV, the performance-oriented Skoda Octavia RS, and the Skoda Enyaq 4.  
  • Honda: The recently launched Honda Amaze, along with the Honda Elevate and Honda City e:HEV, will be showcased by the Japanese automaker.

The Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 is poised to be a significant event for the Indian automotive industry, showcasing the latest advancements in technology, design, and electric mobility.
