Hyundai has showcased the futuristic Staria MPV at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. While recent sightings in Chennai fueled speculation about an imminent launch, Hyundai has clarified that the Staria is currently on display for visitor feedback and evaluation. This expansive MPV, measuring a substantial 5.2 meters in length, boasts a sleek and aerodynamic design with slim LED DRLs, LED headlights, and a massive glasshouse with frameless windows. The rear features distinctive vertical tail lamps and a roof spoiler.
The Staria offers versatile seating configurations, accommodating up to 11 passengers in some markets. Sharing its platform with the Kia Carnival, it provides a spacious and comfortable interior with features like captain seats with ottomans and electronic controls for seat adjustments and ventilation. A panoramic sunroof adds to the sense of spaciousness.
Globally, the Staria is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine available in two power outputs, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. A 2.2-liter diesel engine is also offered, mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
