Hyundai India has announced a price hike across its entire model lineup, effective January 2025. Among the models impacted is the Alcazar SUV, which has seen a price increase of up to ₹15,000. The updated pricing now starts at ₹14.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Alcazar, Hyundai’s three-row SUV, is available in four variants: Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature. Specific variants such as the Signature 1.5 Petrol DCT 7-seater, Signature Matte 1.5 Petrol DCT 7-seater dual-tone, and Executive Matte 1.5 Petrol 7-seater have seen the highest price jump of ₹15,000. Meanwhile, Platinum and Platinum Matte diesel variants now cost ₹10,000 more, with prices for other variants remaining unchanged.
The Alcazar facelift offers two engine options: a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 160PS and 253Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel engine delivering 116PS and 250Nm. Both engines come with a 6-speed manual transmission, while the petrol engine offers an optional 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and the diesel includes a 6-speed torque converter automatic option.

The Alcazar is packed with premium features like dual 10.25-inch displays, a panoramic sunroof, BOSE sound system, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera, six airbags, and level-2 ADAS. The 6-seater version offers wing-type headrests, thigh cushion extensions, and ventilated second-row seats.
In the Indian market, the Alcazar competes with MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, and Mahindra XUV700.
