Honda Amaze Loses Introductory Pricing, Gets ₹30,000 Hike

2024 Honda Amaze

Honda’s third-generation Amaze, launched in December 2024, initially came with an introductory price. This offer, originally intended for 45 days, was later extended to January 31, 2025. However, the special pricing has now ended, resulting in a price increase of ₹30,000 across the Amaze lineup.

The Amaze is powered by a 1.2-liter, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox in the manual variant. This engine delivers a peak power of 87.28 Hp and a maximum torque of 110 Nm.

The feature list of the Amaze includes rear AC vents, automatic climate control, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Safety features include ADAS with EBD, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, and six airbags.

With the end of the introductory offer, the Amaze’s prices have been revised. The V MT now starts at ₹8.10 lakh, while the V CVT is priced at ₹9.35 lakh. The VX MT costs ₹9.20 lakh, and the VX CVT is available for ₹10.15 lakh. The top-tier ZX trim has seen the ₹30,000 price hike, with the ZX MT now costing ₹10 lakh and the ZX CVT reaching ₹11.20 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). The Amaze is offered in three trims: V, VX, and ZX, each with manual and CVT options.

In the competitive subcompact sedan segment, the Honda Amaze faces stiff competition from rivals like the Maruti Baleno, Skoda Kylaq, Tata Tigor, and Hyundai Aura.
