Force Gurkha-Inspired Pickup Truck Spotted

Force Gurkha Pickup

Force Motors is gearing up to expand its presence in the Indian pickup truck market, with several new models currently undergoing testing. Among these is a single-cab pickup truck, recently spotted without camouflage, revealing its design. This test mule, sporting a vibrant red paint job, clearly borrows design cues from the existing Force Gurkha SUV.

While clearly intended for commercial use, the pickup truck’s front fascia retains the familiar Gurkha look, featuring round projector headlamps with integrated DRLs. Interestingly, the spotted test mule lacked a front bumper, showcasing a muscular bonnet with distinct lines.

The side profile also echoes the Gurkha’s SUV styling, highlighted by five-spoke alloy wheels—a notable departure from typical commercial vehicle aesthetics. Slightly flared wheel arches lead to a long, flatbed. The rear of the truck features a conventional pickup design, including a crash bar that houses the taillights and license plate. The tailgate prominently displays the embossed Force logo.

Powertrain details remain undisclosed. However, it’s anticipated that the pickup will utilize a 2.6-litre diesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. A four-wheel-drive system is also a strong possibility. Upon its release, this Force Motors pickup truck will likely compete with models like the Mahindra Bolero Maxx Pik-Up.
