Chrysler is reviving the Voyager nameplate for its value-focused minivan, offering a more affordable alternative to the Pacifica. Although the Voyager shares the same underpinnings as the Pacifica, it features a distinct design and a more budget-conscious feature set.
A Familiar Face
The 2025 Chrysler Voyager closely resembles the previous generation Pacifica, lacking the updated styling of the current model. While it may not be the most visually appealing minivan on the market, the Voyager offers a practical and functional design.
Standard Features
Despite its lower price point, the Voyager comes equipped with a range of standard features. These include an acoustic windshield, power sliding doors, a power liftgate, 17-inch aluminum wheels, and a limited color palette.
Inside, the Voyager offers heated leatherette front seats with power adjustment and memory on the driver’s side, a heated steering wheel, a tri-zone climate control system, remote start, and second-row sunshades.
Technology features include a 7-inch cluster display, a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker audio system, a Super Console, and Stow ‘n Go seating in the second and third rows.
Safety features include adaptive cruise control, rear park assist, and a blind-spot monitoring system with rear cross path detection.
Powertrain Options
The Voyager is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, producing 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, sending power to the front wheels.
Model Lineup and Pricing
The 2025 Chrysler Voyager lineup consists of the following models:
- Voyager LX
- Pacifica Select
- Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid Select
- Pacifica Limited
- Pacifica Pinnacle
- Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid Pinnacle
The Voyager LX is the base model and starts at $39,995 before destination. This suggests a potential price increase for the Pacifica lineup, as the current base model starts at $39,645.
Chrysler’s Strategy
Chrysler’s decision to revive the Voyager nameplate aligns with its strategy of offering a diverse range of vehicles to cater to different customer needs and budgets. By providing a more affordable minivan option, Chrysler aims to attract value-conscious buyers who may not be willing to pay a premium for the Pacifica.
