2025 BMW X3

The highly anticipated fourth-generation BMW X3 has made its Indian debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Available in both petrol and diesel variants, the new X3 boasts a starting price of Rs 75.80 lakh for the petrol and Rs 77.80 lakh for the diesel (ex-showroom, India).

The 2025 X3 showcases a complete design overhaul, drawing inspiration from the BMW 5 Series. The front end features a prominent grille flanked by sleek LED headlights with distinctive DRL signatures. While retaining the familiar SUV silhouette, the X3 now boasts softer lines and rides on new 19-inch alloy wheels. The rear echoes the design cues of the XM with its slim, Y-shaped tail lights and a repositioned number plate housing.

Inside, the cabin exudes modernity with a redesigned dashboard featuring ambient lighting. Key features include a 14.9-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a 15-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, ambient lighting with multiple color options, wireless phone charging, cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, and tri-zone climate control. Safety is paramount with multiple airbags, a comprehensive suite of ADAS features, electronic stability control, hill descent control, a tire pressure monitor, parking assist, and a 360-degree camera.

Powering the X3 is a choice of two engines: a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo-petrol generating 206bhp and 310Nm of torque, and a 2.0-liter diesel engine delivering 197bhp and 400Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and feature all-wheel drive.

The BMW X3 continues its rivalry with the Mercedes-Benz GLC and Audi Q5 in the premium SUV segment.
