Acura ADX Debuts with Sporty Styling and Advanced Technology

2025 Acura ADX

Acura is finally entering the highly competitive entry-level luxury crossover segment with the all-new ADX, set to launch this spring with a starting price of $35,000. This positions the ADX significantly below its European rivals like the Audi Q3, BMW X1, and Lexus UX, targeting a younger demographic of Millennials and Gen Z buyers. Acura aims to attract these buyers with a combination of eye-catching design, premium features, and a dynamic driving experience, all at an accessible price point.

The ADX boasts a distinctive, edgy exterior design, highlighted by Acura’s signature Diamond Pentagon grille and sleek, narrow headlights. Standard features include a moonroof, a power liftgate, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the ADX’s cabin incorporates a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 9-inch infotainment system equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. While the interior design may share some DNA with Honda models, it doesn’t skimp on features, offering heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a wireless phone charger, and an eight-speaker audio system as standard.

The mid-level ADX A-Spec, priced from $38,000, adds sporty gloss black exterior accents, Gun Metallic trim, LED fog lights, and larger 19-inch wheels. The interior receives an upgrade with heated and ventilated Ultrasuede front seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a panoramic moonroof, ambient LED lighting, and red contrast stitching. Additional enhancements include a four-way power front passenger seat, stainless steel pedals, a chrome shift knob, and a cargo cover.

At the top of the range, the ADX A-Spec with Advance Package, starting at $42,000, features subtle exterior refinements like gloss black mirrors, black 19-inch wheels, and rain-sensing wipers. The interior is further enhanced with a heated steering wheel, a premium 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, and Google built-in with a three-year unlimited data plan. Other premium features include front and rear parking sensors, remote engine start, and a customizable drive mode selector.

Acura remains tight-lipped about specific performance figures, but confirms the ADX will utilize a turbocharged 1.5-liter VTEC engine similar to the one found in the Integra. In the Integra, this engine produces 200 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. The ADX’s engine will be paired with a sport-tuned continuously variable transmission (CVT). Front-wheel drive is standard, with all-wheel drive available for an additional $2,000.

The 2025 Acura ADX is available in three trims: the base ADX, the ADX A-Spec, and the ADX A-Spec with Advance Package. Each trim offers both front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations. All prices listed exclude a $1,350 destination fee.
