JSW MG Motor India has launched the 2025 iteration of its Astor SUV, with prices ranging from ₹9.99 lakh for the base Sprint trim to ₹17.55 lakh for the top-tier Savvy Pro variant (ex-showroom). The updated Astor features several enhancements, including a panoramic sunroof now standard on the mid-level Shine variant, a six-speaker sound system, and six airbags and ivory leather seats for the Select trim.
The 2025 Astor retains features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, and automatic climate control. Safety is addressed with a 360-degree camera, electrically adjustable ORVMs, hill ascent and descent control, six airbags, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) encompassing features like forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, departure assist, and lane-keeping assist.

- Astor Sprint MT: ₹9.99 lakh
- Astor Shine MT: ₹12.47 lakh
- Astor Select MT: ₹13.81 lakh
- Astor Select CVT: ₹14.84 lakh

- Astor Sharp Pro CVT: ₹16.48 lakh
- Astor Savvy Pro (Ivory): ₹17.45 lakh
- Astor Savvy Pro (Sangaria Red): ₹17.55 lakh
The 2025 Astor continues to be powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 108 hp and 144 Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT.
The MG Astor competes in the crowded mid-size SUV segment against rivals such as the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, and Skoda Kushaq.
