Kia has unveiled the facelifted 2025 Kia K5, offering a glimpse of the future in terms of design and technology. The new K5, destined for the Korean market and possibly the global stage, boasts several exciting updates that elevate its appeal.

Inside the cabin, one of the most striking changes is the sleek panoramic curved display. This innovative feature integrates dual 12.3-inch screens and eliminates physical buttons, creating a clean and modern look. The new infotainment system comes with over-the-air update capabilities, enabling seamless software upgrades. Users can also take advantage of remote control features through their smartphones, a fingerprint authentication system for added security, and enjoy their favorite tunes through the optional 12-speaker premium sound system by KRELL.

Further enhancing the interior, Kia offers three new color options for upholstery customization: Sand, Martian Brown, and black. These choices allow drivers to infuse their personal style into the vehicle's cabin.

For those with a preference for a darker aesthetic, the "Black Fit" optional package is available. This package includes black 18-inch or 19-inch wheels, a black suede headliner, and dark finish accents for mirror caps, rear diffuser, and tailpipes, enhancing the K5's overall appearance.

While mechanical changes are limited, the K5 benefits from a revised suspension setup, resulting in improved ride comfort, complemented by enhanced sound insulation for a quieter interior environment.

Under the hood, the Korean-spec model offers a range of powertrain options to suit diverse driving needs. These include a naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter MPi with 158 horsepower, a turbocharged 1.6-liter T-GDi with 178 horsepower, a 2.0-liter LPi with 144 horsepower, and a more efficient hybrid variant producing a combined 192 horsepower.

Prices vary depending on the chosen powertrain and trim, with a range of ₩27.84-39.54 million (approximately $20,503-29,117). As for the North American market, the 2024 Kia K5 was recently unveiled based on the pre-facelifted model. However, it's likely that these exciting updates will be applied to the North American version for the 2025 model year, providing customers across the globe with a taste of the future of automotive excellence.
