2024 Skoda Superb teases ahead of November 2 worldwide premiere

We've had glimpses of the 2024 Skoda Superb's outline from earlier teasers, but these sketches divulge fresh insights into the exterior design.
Skoda has released an enticing series of sketches, unveiling the forthcoming fourth-generation Superb in both Hatchback and Combi variants, and confirming that its global debut is set for November 2.
We've had glimpses of the 2024 Skoda Superb's outline from earlier teasers, but these sketches divulge fresh insights into the exterior design. The Superb retains its distinctive identity but exhibits a more contemporary edge, thanks to Skoda's new Modern Solid design philosophy. Notable features include the sleeker LED Matrix beam headlights and LED taillights adorned with "crystalline" accents for an elevated sense of luxury. The grille appears broader, while the bumper intake is accentuated by a chrome strip.
This new generation is longer, taller, and more aerodynamic than its predecessor, boasting a drag coefficient of 0.24 cd. The Hatchback spans 4,912 mm (193.4 inches) in length, while the Combi stretches to 4,902 mm (193 inches), both sharing the same 2,841 mm (111.9 inches) wheelbase.
Oliver Stefani, Head of Skoda Design, remarked, "The Superb has always played a pivotal role in shaping Skoda's design language, and the fourth-generation model will continue this tradition. It boasts crisply defined lines, dynamic proportions, and a modern, sculptural, and crystalline styling."
Skoda has already provided a glimpse of the new Superb's interior. The dashboard hosts a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit, a head-up display, and the innovative rotary push-button "Smart Dials" with integrated screens. Skoda claims that both headroom and luggage space have significantly expanded compared to the outgoing Superb. Specifically, the hatchback offers a boot capacity of 645 liters (22.8 cubic feet), while the Combi boasts 690 liters (24.4 cubic feet). Additionally, there are 28 available "Simply Clever" features aimed at enhancing practicality.
Serving as the flagship of Skoda's ICE-powered lineup, the new Superb is built on an evolved version of the MQB architecture and shares close kinship with the 2024 VW Passat Variant. The engine lineup mirrors that of the 2024 Kodiaq SUV, offering a variety of options, including diesel, petrol, mild-hybrid petrol, and plug-in hybrid powertrains (although the latter is exclusive to the Combi variant). All powertrains are paired with a DSG automatic gearbox, capable of transmitting power to either the front or all four wheels.
Despite our prior knowledge of the 2024 Skoda Superb, its official debut is right around the corner next week, so keep your eyes peeled for more details.
