The much-anticipated 2024 Maruti Dzire has finally been revealed, following earlier sightings that hinted at a refreshed look and upgraded features beyond its popular Swift sibling. Maruti Suzuki has now officially announced that the Dzire will be available in four trims—LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi Plus—and will hit showrooms on November 11. This subcompact sedan offers distinct features at each trim level, appealing to a broad range of customer preferences. Here’s a breakdown of what each variant brings to the table.

2024 Maruti Dzire LXi

The base-level LXi variant offers essential features:

  • Exterior: Projector-style halogen headlights, LED tail lights, 14-inch steel wheels, shark fin antenna, black door handles and mirrors, and a boot lip spoiler.
  • Interior: Dual-tone black and beige cabin, fabric seat upholstery, adjustable front seat headrests, and a center cabin lamp.
  • Comfort & Convenience: Analog instrument cluster with MID, manual AC, driver-side auto power window, and keyless entry.
  • Safety: Standard six airbags, rear defogger, seat-belt reminders, ABS with EBD, hill-hold assist, ESP, reverse parking sensors, and ISOFIX mounts.

The LXi covers all the basics, offering decent safety features and a comfortable interior, though it lacks an audio system and alloy wheels.

2024 Maruti Dzire VXi

Building on the LXi, the VXi introduces:

  • Exterior: 14-inch steel wheels with covers, chrome accents on the grille and boot lid, body-colored door handles, and mirror-integrated turn indicators.
  • Interior: Rear center armrest with cupholders, chrome-finished interior handles, and a boot lamp.
  • Comfort & Convenience: Rear AC vents, height-adjustable driver’s seat, day/night rearview mirror, and USB charging ports for both front and rear passengers.
  • Infotainment: A 7-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, along with a 4-speaker audio system.

The VXi enhances practicality with rear AC vents and charging options, while also bringing in a touchscreen infotainment system for an upgraded cabin experience.

2024 Maruti Dzire ZXi

The mid-tier ZXi variant further elevates the Dzire’s offerings with:

  • Exterior: Auto LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, 15-inch alloy wheels, and chrome window garnish.
  • Interior: Satin-finish instrument console, chrome AC vents, and faux wooden dashboard trim.
  • Comfort & Convenience: Push-button start/stop, wireless phone charger, auto AC, and outside temperature display.
  • Infotainment: Six-speaker setup with connected car technology.
  • Safety: Reverse parking camera and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

The top-tier ZXi Plus variant is packed with premium features, including:

Powertrain Options

The 2024 Dzire is powered by the same 1.2-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine as the latest Swift model, available in two configurations:

  • Petrol: 1.2-liter engine producing 82 PS and 112 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual or AMT, with fuel efficiency of 24.79 km/l (manual) and 25.71 km/l (AMT).
  • Petrol-CNG: 1.2-liter engine outputting 70 PS and 102 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual, boasting 33.73 km/kg.

Expected Price and Competitors

The 2024 Maruti Dzire is expected to start at around Rs 6.70 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete with other subcompact sedans like the 2025 Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor, and Hyundai Aura.
