Triumph Teases Updated Speed Triple 1200

Triumph Motorcycles is gearing up to unveil the latest generation of its iconic Speed Triple 1200. While details remain scarce, the brand has released a teaser image hinting at the upcoming launch. Development of the updated model has been underway for some time, suggesting significant improvements in both performance and technology.

Familiar Silhouette with Refreshed Aesthetics

The 2024 Speed Triple 1200 is expected to retain the aggressive and distinctive styling of its predecessor. Key design elements such as the twin-headlamp setup and the muscular fuel tank flowing into a sleek tail section are likely to be carried over. However, Triumph may introduce new color options and graphics to enhance the bike’s visual appeal.

Enhanced Performance and Technology

The updated Speed Triple 1200 is anticipated to feature a refined engine and an expanded suite of rider aids. Expect to find improved electronics, including multiple ride modes, traction control, and potentially, electronically adjustable suspension. Upgraded brakes and a refined chassis are also likely to contribute to enhanced handling and braking performance.

Powertrain Expectations

The current Speed Triple 1200 is powered by a potent 1160 cc inline-triple engine that produces 177.5 hp and 125 Nm of torque. While specific details about the updated engine are yet to be revealed, it’s likely to offer refined performance and potentially increased power output. The engine is expected to be paired with a six-speed gearbox.
