Royal Enfield has finally introduced the much-anticipated Himalayan 450 in Malaysia, nearly nine months after its Indian debut. The adventure motorcycle, a direct rival to the KTM 390 Adventure, is now available in the Malaysian market through Didi Group, Royal Enfield’s exclusive distributor.
The Himalayan 450 offers Malaysian riders a choice of five striking color options across three variants: Base, Pass, and Summit. Priced competitively between RM 30,600 and RM 32,200, the bike provides excellent value for money.
Under the hood, the Himalayan 450 boasts Royal Enfield’s new 452cc Sherpa engine. This liquid-cooled, single-cylinder unit delivers a potent 39.5 bhp and 40 Nm of torque, making it capable of handling diverse terrains. Paired with a six-speed gearbox and ride-by-wire throttle, the Himalayan 450 offers a smooth and responsive riding experience.
Malaysian consumers can expect the same feature-packed Himalayan 450 that has been so well-received in India. The bike’s Showa suspension setup and 21/17-inch wheels make it well-suited for both on-road and off-road adventures.
With the Himalayan 450 now available in Malaysia, Royal Enfield continues to expand its presence in the Southeast Asian market. The bike’s combination of performance, style, and affordability is sure to attract a wide range of riders.
