Royal Enfield has expanded its global footprint by opening a new CKD assembly plant in Thailand. This facility, located in Samut Prakan province, marks the company’s first wholly-owned and operated plant outside of India.

Thailand is a significant market for Royal Enfield in Asia, second only to India. The new plant, spanning 57,000 square feet, has an annual capacity to assemble 30,000 motorcycles. It will also serve as a training center for both plant employees and dealership staff.

In addition to Thailand, Royal Enfield operates CKD assembly plants in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Bangladesh, and Nepal.

This year has been a busy one for Royal Enfield, with the launch of the Guerrilla 450, Bear 650, and Goan Classic 350. The company recently unveiled the Classic 650 Twin and Scram 440 at Motoverse 2024, both of which are slated for an Indian launch in early 2025.
