Royal Enfield has unveiled its latest custom motorcycle, the FT450 Flat Tracker, at the Motoverse 2024 event. This unique bike is based on the Guerrilla 450 model and is specifically designed for flat track racing.
The FT450 features a striking retro-inspired design with minimalist bodywork and custom graphics. It ditches the standard LED headlight for a sleek fairing cowl and sports a flat seat with a custom tail section. The 17-inch wire-spoke wheels are wrapped in dual-purpose tires, perfect for navigating the dirt tracks. To enhance performance, the bike is equipped with a custom exhaust and a Powertronic Fuel X Autotune system for optimized fuel injection.
One of the most distinctive features of the FT450 is the absence of a front brake. This is a common characteristic of flat track motorcycles, as the rear brake is primarily used for braking and sliding maneuvers.
Under the hood, the FT450 retains the same 452cc, liquid-cooled engine as the Guerrilla 450, delivering 40 horsepower and 40 Nm of torque. This power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox.
