Royal Enfield is set to kick off 2025 with the launch of a new scrambler motorcycle, the Scram 440. This upcoming model will replace the current Scram 411, offering a refreshed design and enhanced performance.
The Scram 440 will be powered by a 443cc single-cylinder engine, a bored-out version of the 411cc unit found in the current model. This new engine is expected to deliver slightly more power and torque than its predecessor. While the engine has been upgraded, the five-speed gearbox will remain unchanged.
To improve city riding dynamics, Royal Enfield has made some adjustments to the chassis. However, the core components like the suspension setup and braking system are likely to be carried over from the Scram 411. The new model is also expected to feature a revised instrument cluster, but a TFT display, as seen on the Himalayan 450, is unlikely to be included.
The Scram 440 is anticipated to be launched in India in the first half of 2025, with an estimated price range of Rs 2.10 lakh to Rs 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
