Royal Enfield has officially commenced deliveries of the much-anticipated Bear 650 in India. Launched on November 5th, this scrambler motorcycle is priced between Rs. 3.39 lakh and Rs. 3.59 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the color variant.
Powertrain and Performance:
The Bear 650 is powered by a 648cc, air/oil-cooled, parallel-twin engine, delivering 46.8 bhp and 56.4 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox equipped with a slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts.
Chassis and Suspension:
While the chassis is shared with the Interceptor 650, it has been reinforced to handle off-road conditions. The motorcycle features a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, both shod with dual-purpose tires. The suspension setup includes Showa-sourced USD forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear.

The Bear 650 boasts a host of modern features, including a round TFT instrument cluster, full-LED lighting, a USB-C charging port, and dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle’s design is characterized by a scrambler-style aesthetic, with a higher ground clearance, a distinctive seat, and a rugged appeal.
