Moto Morini motorcycles are now significantly more affordable in India, thanks to a substantial price reduction announced by MAdishwar Auto Ride India (AARI). The Seiemmezzo 6 ½ range, known for its distinctive and muscular Italian design, has seen cuts across both its Scrambler and Retro Street variants.
The Seiemmezzo 650 Scrambler, previously priced at Rs 7,10,000, now carries a price tag of Rs 5,20,000, a reduction of Rs 1,90,000. The Retro Street version has also received a significant price adjustment, dropping from Rs 6,99,000 to Rs 4,99,000, a saving of Rs 2,00,000. All prices are ex-showroom. Both models feature a 5-inch TFT instrument console.
Both the Scrambler and Retro Street are powered by a 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, producing 55.65PS at 8,250rpm and 54Nm at 7,000rpm. This engine is coupled with a six-speed gearbox.
The bikes utilize a 43mm KYB inverted fork and a KYB monoshock, both adjustable for preload. Braking is handled by dual 298mm discs at the front and a single 255mm disc at the rear, all with Brembo calipers. Dual-channel ABS comes standard. The Scrambler rides on spoked wheels (18-inch front, 17-inch rear), while the Retro Street uses alloy wheels of the same size. Both models are equipped with 120-section front and 180-section rear tubeless tires.
