Lambretta has paid homage to its iconic J model with a special edition, the J Starwave, unveiled at EICMA 2024. Inspired by surfing and beach culture, the J Starwave embodies the spirit of youthful freedom and individuality.
The J Starwave maintains the core philosophy of the original J model: a lightweight, compact scooter designed to appeal to a younger audience. The distinctive surfboard-like design element on the front shield adds a unique touch to the scooter’s aesthetic. Lambretta has also introduced a range of customization kits, including front stripes and fenders, allowing riders to personalize their J Starwave.
The J model range offers two engine options: a 125cc and a 200cc. The 125cc engine delivers 12.2 horsepower and 11.5 Nm of torque, while the 200cc engine produces 17 horsepower and 15.5 Nm of torque. Both engines are four-stroke, four-valve, and liquid-cooled.
With its classic design, modern features, and youthful appeal, the Lambretta J Starwave is set to capture the hearts of a new generation of riders. The scooter is expected to be available in June 2025.
