KTM has officially opened bookings for its highly anticipated 390 Adventure and 390 Enduro R motorcycles. These models, which were recently unveiled at the India Bike Week 2024, are set to revolutionize the adventure touring and off-road motorcycle segments in India.
390 Adventure S
The 390 Adventure S, the mid-spec variant, is expected to be the most popular choice among Indian riders. It features a striking design with a high-mounted front fender, LED lighting, and a rugged off-road look. The bike is equipped with a 21-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, both wrapped in Apollo Trample tires.
The 390 Adventure S boasts a fully adjustable WP Apex suspension setup, providing excellent off-road capabilities. It also comes with a TFT instrument cluster and a host of electronic rider aids, including a rally mode.
390 Enduro R
The 390 Enduro R is designed for hardcore off-road enthusiasts. It features a minimalist design with a focus on functionality. The bike is equipped with a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, providing optimal traction and control on challenging terrains.
The Enduro R also features a fully adjustable WP Apex suspension setup, but with longer travel for enhanced off-road performance. It comes with a simpler LCD instrument cluster and a dedicated ABS off-road mode.
Shared Powertrain
Both the 390 Adventure S and 390 Enduro R are powered by the same 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine as the 390 Duke. This engine is expected to produce similar power and torque figures, but KTM may tune it differently to suit the specific needs of each model.
