Harley-Davidson has revealed its 2025 Sportster S, featuring subtle design updates and a significant overhaul of its suspension system. The most notable change is a substantial increase in suspension travel, enhancing the bike’s ride quality and capability.
The 2025 Sportster S now boasts 81.2mm of rear wheel travel, a 60% increase from the previous 50.8mm. This improvement was achieved without altering the seat height, a clever engineering feat. The rear suspension now utilizes a fully adjustable Showa piggyback reservoir shock, allowing riders to fine-tune hydraulic preload, compression, and rebound damping. The 43mm front forks have also been revised and are now adjustable for compression, rebound damping, and spring preload, providing a truly customizable riding experience.

Visually, the 2025 Sportster S receives subtle styling tweaks to distinguish it as the latest iteration. Two new color options, red and blue, join the existing grey and black schemes.
The powerful Revolution Max 1250T engine, generating 121bhp, remains unchanged, as does the six-speed gearbox. Other components, including the TFT screen, switchgear, and other smaller features, are carried over from the 2024 model.

The 2025 Harley-Davidson Sportster S will soon be available in the US, with an India launch expected later this year.
