Honda Gold Wing Celebrates 50 Years with Special Edition

Honda is marking the 50th anniversary of its iconic Gold Wing motorcycle in 2025 with a special edition model. While the anniversary edition shares the same overall design as the standard Gold Wing, it boasts several distinctive features.  

Visually, the 50th Anniversary Gold Wing stands out with exclusive Bordeaux Red Metallic and Eternal Gold color schemes, both featuring stylish two-tone accents. Honda has also upgraded the audio system and now includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. A special touch is the welcome message on the TFT screen, which displays the original Gold Wing’s debut year of 1975. Convenience is further enhanced with the addition of two Type-C charging ports.  

Under the hood, the Gold Wing retains its powerful 1,833cc, liquid-cooled, six-cylinder engine, producing 124bhp and 170Nm of torque.  

Honda plans to bring a limited number of these anniversary edition models to India later this year. The expected price tag will likely exceed Rs. 40 lakh (ex-showroom).
