Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the eagerly anticipated Xtreme 250R at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This streetfighter, inspired by the Xtunt 2.5R concept showcased at EICMA 2023, marks the company’s entry into the competitive quarter-liter motorcycle segment in India. Priced at ₹1.80 lakh (ex-showroom), the Xtreme 250R will be available in three striking colors and will soon be available for bookings.
Designed to turn heads, the Xtreme 250R boasts an aggressive aesthetic with a sculpted fuel tank, a sharp headlamp unit, and a sporty upswept tail section. It comes packed with modern features including a full-LED projector headlight with DRLs, a split seat setup, switchable ABS, and a comprehensive LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity for navigation and media control.

Powering the Xtreme 250R is a newly developed 250cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivering 29.5 bhp and 25 Nm of torque. This engine, also destined for the upcoming Karizma XMR 250, is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The bike is built on a trellis frame and equipped with premium suspension components, including 43mm USD forks upfront and a monoshock unit at the rear. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes on both wheels with dual-channel ABS.

With its blend of aggressive styling, powerful engine, and advanced features, the Hero Xtreme 250R is poised to make a significant impact in the Indian market.
