2025 Ducati Multistrada V2

Ducati has unveiled its latest offering, the 2025 Multistrada V2, powered by a brand-new 890 cc V-twin engine. This engine, introduced at EICMA 2024, replaces the 937 cc Testastretta twin found in the previous model.

The new engine delivers 113.4 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and 92.1 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. Ducati claims that 70% of the torque is available from 3,500 rpm to 11,000 rpm, ensuring strong performance across the rev range. The engine requires valve clearance adjustment every 30,000 km and comes with a four-year unlimited mileage warranty.

The engine is integrated into an aluminum monocoque chassis, paired with a redesigned subframe and a new double-sided swingarm. The bodywork has been revised for improved aerodynamics and rider comfort, with side panels channeling cool air towards the rider. The Multistrada V2 weighs in at 199 kg without fuel and offers a standard seat height of 850 mm. The seat height can be adjusted to 830 mm or 810 mm with optional accessories.

The 2025 Multistrada V2 is available in two trims: the standard V2 and the higher-spec V2 S. The V2 features a 45 mm fully adjustable Marzocchi USD fork and a rear shock, while the V2 S upgrades to a 45 mm USD fork and a mono-shock with Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) for electronically adjustable damping. Both models share the same braking system with dual 320 mm front discs and a 265 mm rear disc, paired with Brembo calipers.

The Multistrada V2 retains its distinctive adventure touring design with tall shoulders and muscular proportions. The front end has been redesigned, inspired by the latest Panigale V4, featuring a new headlight design.

Both models come equipped with a 5-inch color TFT display offering smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and tire pressure monitoring. A comprehensive suite of electronic riding aids, including various ride modes, power modes, traction control, engine brake control, and more, is also standard. For added comfort on long journeys, heated grips and cruise control are included.

The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 is expected to launch in India in mid-2025.
