Ducati has made a striking debut at EICMA 2024 with the introduction of the new Streetfighter V2 and its more performance-oriented S variant. This highly anticipated motorcycle marks a significant departure from its predecessor, featuring a completely redesigned 90° V-twin 890 cc engine.

The new engine, equipped with variable valve timing (IVT), delivers a potent 120 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and 93.3 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. By abandoning the traditional desmodromic valve system, Ducati has achieved a significant reduction in production and maintenance costs.

The Streetfighter V2 boasts an aggressive design inspired by the Panigale, with sharp lines and a menacing front end. The lightweight aluminum monocoque frame contributes to a substantial weight reduction, bringing the dry weight down to 178 kg (175 kg for the S version).

The electronics package is equally impressive, featuring a 5-inch TFT display with customizable riding modes. The S version comes standard with Ducati Power Launch and Ducati Pit Limiter, while these features are optional on the standard model.

When it comes to suspension, the standard version relies on Marzocchi and Kayaba components, while the S version benefits from premium Öhlins suspension. Brembo M50 monoblock calipers provide powerful braking performance.

The Ducati Streetfighter V2 and V2 S are set to launch in March 2025, promising to redefine the streetfighter category with their aggressive styling, powerful engine, and advanced electronics.
