Ducati is building anticipation for a new Diavel model, set to be revealed to the world soon. All signs point towards this being the highly anticipated XDiavel V4, a model Ducati has previously teased.
The heart of the XDiavel V4 is expected to be the same 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine found in the standard Diavel. Ducati’s teasers confirm the engine will produce 168bhp, matching the standard model. It remains to be seen whether Ducati has made any adjustments to the torque output. The engine will likely be paired with a six-speed gearbox, possibly featuring a two-way quickshifter.
The XDiavel V4 will likely differentiate itself from the standard Diavel with distinct styling. Expect unique alloy wheel designs and a special paint scheme, reminiscent of previous XDiavel models. In terms of features, the XDiavel V4 is anticipated to be packed with rider aids, including various riding modes, traction control, ride-by-wire, cornering ABS, wheelie control, launch control, a TFT display, and more.
The XDiavel V4’s chassis is expected to feature fully adjustable upside-down front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. Braking will likely be handled by dual discs at the front and a single disc at the rear, all fitted to 17-inch alloy wheels.
Following its global unveiling, the XDiavel V4 is expected to make its way to India relatively quickly. It will likely carry a slight price premium over the standard Diavel V4.
