Ducati DesertX Discovery Priced at ₹21.78 Lakh in India: Deliveries Soon

Ducati has expanded its adventure touring lineup in India with the introduction of the DesertX Discovery, priced at ₹21.78 lakh (ex-showroom). This new variant builds upon the popular DesertX platform, specifically tailored for long-distance journeys with enhanced features and protective elements.

To optimize the motorcycle for touring, Ducati has equipped the Discovery with heated grips, a taller windscreen for improved wind protection, a center stand for easier maintenance, and durable aluminum panniers for ample storage. Further bolstering its off-road capabilities and durability, the bike includes a robust bull bar, a radiator guard, and a comprehensive engine bash plate to shield critical components from potential damage.

Visually, the DesertX Discovery distinguishes itself through a unique color combination. It features a striking blend of Ducati Red and Thrilling Black, accented with white highlights, creating a distinctive aesthetic.

Powering the motorcycle is Ducati’s 937cc L-twin engine, generating 108 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 92 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and benefits from a suite of electronic rider aids, including various ride and power modes, wheelie control, engine brake control, a two-way quickshifter, and cruise control, enhancing rider comfort and control.

The bike’s suspension system comprises 46mm fully adjustable upside-down front forks and a fully adjustable KYB monoshock at the rear, providing a versatile setup for diverse terrains. Braking is handled by dual 320mm discs at the front and a single 265mm disc at the rear, ensuring reliable stopping power.
