BMW Motorrad has launched the R 1300 GS Adventure in India at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. Priced at Rs. 22.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the Adventure variant sits above the standard R 1300 GS in the company’s lineup.
The R 1300 GS Adventure distinguishes itself with its robust, adventure-oriented design. Featuring a boxy silhouette, the Adventure incorporates a 30-liter fuel tank seamlessly. Squared-off edges, prominent at the beak, fuel tank, and tail section, contribute to its commanding road presence.

Engine & Performance
Powering the Adventure is a 1,300cc boxer twin engine producing 145 bhp and 149 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox. Four ride modes – Eco, Rain, Road, and Enduro – allow riders to adjust power delivery and traction control intervention.

Features & Technology
The R 1300 GS Adventure comes standard with an extensive list of features, including all-LED lighting with auxiliary lights, Dynamic Traction Control, radar-based adaptive cruise control, and front and rear collision warning.

Chassis & Suspension
The Adventure features a sheet metal main frame and an aluminum lattice tube rear frame. Suspension duties are handled by BMW’s Telelever and Paralever EVO units, offering electronically adjustable settings with Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA) as standard.

Variants & Competition
The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure is available in four variants: Basic, Triple Black, GS Trophy, and Option 719 Karakorum. In the Indian market, it directly competes with the Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally.
