Aprilia is gearing up to launch its new street naked motorcycle, the Tuono 457, in India in January 2025. The bike, which was unveiled at EICMA last month, is based on the sporty RS457 but boasts a distinct streetfighter design.
The Tuono 457 features a striking design with LED headlights, a muscular fuel tank, and a sleek rear end. The exposed aluminum twin-spar frame and tank extensions further enhance its aggressive appearance.
Powering the bike is a 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that delivers 46.9bhp and 43.5Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox, which may be offered with an optional quickshifter.
The Tuono 457 is equipped with a USD fork and a monoshock suspension setup. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends.
In terms of features, the bike offers a comprehensive package including all-LED lighting, traction control, ride modes, ABS, and a color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity.
Once launched, the Aprilia Tuono 457 will compete with the KTM 390 Duke, Yamaha MT-03, and BMW G 310 R in the Indian market.
