TVS Motor Company has launched the 2025 Ronin motorcycle in India, bringing cosmetic enhancements and feature upgrades to its neo-retro offering. Priced from Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated Ronin aims to solidify its position in the competitive segment, where it rivals models like the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
The 2025 Ronin retains the familiar silhouette of its predecessor, including the signature round headlamp with a T-shaped DRL and the distinctively shaped fuel tank paired with a single-piece seat. Two new color options, Glacier Silver and Charcoal Ember, have been introduced to refresh the bike’s aesthetic. A significant upgrade is the inclusion of dual-channel ABS on the mid-spec DS variant, a feature previously exclusive to the top-tier TD variant.
The Ronin continues to offer a unique asymmetric speedometer displaying essential riding information, adjustable levers, a slipper clutch, Bluetooth connectivity, call/SMS alerts, and smart connectivity features through the SmartXonnect system.
The 2025 Ronin is powered by the same 225.9cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, producing 20.1 hp and 19.93 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium at TVS Motor Company, commented on the launch, stating that the Ronin has redefined modern-retro motorcycling in India and embodies the spirit of unscripted riding. He added that the 2025 edition brings a new color palette and upgraded safety features, expressing excitement about customer reception and the next chapter in the Ronin’s journey.
