Triumph has unveiled its 2025 Tiger 1200 lineup, promising a more refined, comfortable, and versatile riding experience. The updated motorcycles boast several improvements, including enhanced engine smoothness, improved ergonomics, and reduced seat height.
Engine and Performance:
The 1160cc triple-cylinder engine remains the heart of the Tiger 1200, delivering 150 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque. However, Triumph has refined the crankshaft, alternator rotor, and balancer to provide smoother power delivery, especially at lower revs. Additionally, the clutch has been updated for easier gear shifts, particularly into first gear.
Ergonomics and Comfort:
Triumph has focused on improving rider comfort by introducing dampened handlebars and risers, especially on the Explorer models. These modifications reduce vibrations at higher speeds and provide a more upright riding position. For shorter riders, the Tiger 1200 now offers a lower seat height option, achieved through a combination of a physically lower seat and an active preload reduction feature.
Design and Features:
The 2025 Tiger 1200 is available in four variants: GT Pro, GT Explorer, Rally Pro, and Rally Explorer. Each variant comes with new color options, including Carnival Red for the GT models and Matt Sandstorm and Jet Black for the Rally models.
All variants are equipped with a 7-inch TFT display, multiple riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, hill-hold assist, and a host of other advanced features. The GT Explorer and Rally Explorer models also benefit from a blind spot radar system.
Pricing and Availability:
The 2025 Triumph Tiger 1200 range starts at Rs 19,38,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi), with exact pricing for all variants to be announced soon.
With its refined engine, improved ergonomics, and advanced features, the 2025 Triumph Tiger 1200 is poised to continue its dominance in the adventure touring segment.
