KTM has expanded its adventure motorcycle lineup in India with the introduction of the 390 Adventure X. Priced at Rs 2.91 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 390 Adventure X offers a more accessible entry point to the 390 Adventure platform, focusing on road-biased performance and affordability.
While sharing the same engine and frame as the standard 390 Adventure, the X variant boasts a few key differences. It retains the 46hp and 39Nm output from its 373cc single-cylinder engine, but weighs in slightly lighter at 182kg. The seat height is also marginally lower at 825mm.
Visually, the 390 Adventure X aligns with the familiar 390 Adventure aesthetic. However, it rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels and features a simplified electronics package. The suspension, while offering the same 200mm/205mm (front/rear) travel as the 390 Adventure, is non-adjustable.

Despite these changes, the 2025 390 Adventure X receives an upgrade with the inclusion of the same TFT display found on the latest Duke models and the standard 390 Adventure. A significant addition is the standard bidirectional quickshifter, enhancing the riding experience.

With a price tag of Rs 2.91 lakh, the 390 Adventure X undercuts the 390 Adventure by a considerable Rs 77,000. This positions it competitively within the adventure touring segment, placing it in direct contention with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, which is priced between Rs 2.85 lakh and Rs 2.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai).
