Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has relaunched the popular CB650R and CBR650R motorcycles for the 2025 model year. The CB650R, a neo-retro naked bike, is priced at ₹9.20 lakh, while the fully-faired CBR650R sport-tourer commands a price tag of ₹9.99 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi). Bookings for both models are now open, with sales exclusively through Honda’s premium BigWing dealerships.
CB650R: Refined Styling and Enhanced Features
The 2025 CB650R retains its classic neo-retro charm while incorporating several key updates. The naked bike now boasts sharper tank extensions, a sleeker tail section, and a modern 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with enhanced data display and Bluetooth connectivity for added convenience.

Powering the CB650R is a 649cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four cylinder engine that delivers a potent 93.8 bhp and 63 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox equipped with an assist and slipper clutch for smooth and effortless gear shifts.
CBR650R: Sporty Appeal with Refined Dynamics
Drawing inspiration from the flagship CBR1000RR Fireblade, the 2025 CBR650R features sharper full fairings and an upswept tail section, lending it a more aggressive and aerodynamic profile. The bike will be available in two striking colors: Grand Prix Red and Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic.
The CBR650R shares the same powerful 649cc inline-four engine with the CB650R, delivering identical power and torque figures. It also features a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.

Both models are equipped with high-quality suspension components, including Showa front forks and a rear monoshock. Braking performance is assured by dual 310mm front discs and a single 240mm rear disc, all complemented by dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety. The CBR650R further enhances rider confidence with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) for optimized traction.
Deliveries for both the CB650R and CBR650R are scheduled to commence in February 2025 through Honda’s exclusive BigWing dealerships.
