2025 Ducati Streetfighter V4: A Beast Unleashed

2025 Ducati Streetfighter V4

The 2025 Ducati Streetfighter V4, unveiled recently, comes in two variants: Standard and S. The latter boasts semi-active Ohlins electronic suspension. This new model is built on the foundation of the recently introduced Panigale V4.

A Sharper Design

The Streetfighter V4’s design is more aggressive than its predecessor. It features a new LED headlight cluster with DRLs inspired by the Panigale V4. The bike also sports two pairs of wings, enhancing its aggressive look. The upper wings resemble the Panigale V4’s biplane wings, while the lower pair is attached to the radiator shroud. These wings contribute to increased downforce, both during acceleration and cornering. Ducati claims a 45kg vertical load at 270kmph, a 17kg improvement over the 2024 model.

The fuel tank, side panels, and tail section remain identical to the Panigale V4. Overall, the new Streetfighter V4 maintains the design philosophy of its predecessor while offering a visually striking appearance.

More Power and Electronics

The Streetfighter V4 is powered by a 1,103cc, Desmosedici Stradale, 90-degree V4 engine, delivering 214bhp, a 6bhp increase over the previous model. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox equipped with a bi-directional quick shifter.

The bike offers a comprehensive suite of electronic rider aids, including multi-level traction control, wheelie control, slide control, launch control, and engine brake control. Four ride modes (Race, Sport, Road, and Wet) and four power modes (Full, High, Medium, and Low) are available.

The Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) system, introduced in the Panigale V4, enhances the accuracy of TC and Wheelie control interventions. All electronic settings can be adjusted through a new 6.9-inch color TFT display.

Improved Chassis

The Streetfighter V4 shares the front frame and hollow, double-sided swingarm with the Panigale V4. The front-end geometry has been revised to suit the Streetfighter’s character. The standard model features a 43mm Showa fork and Sachs monoshock, both manually adjustable.

The Streetfighter V4 S, on the other hand, is equipped with an Ohlins Smart EC 3.0, 43mm NIX30 fork and a TTX36 monoshock, both electronically adjustable. The fork stroke has been increased by 5mm to 125mm for improved bump absorption.

Both models ride on 17-inch wheels with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tires. The V4 S gets forged wheels, reducing weight by 2.2kg. Braking is handled by Brembo’s new Hypure calipers with 330mm discs at the front and a 245mm disc at the rear. The Race eCBS system automatically applies a small amount of rear brake during front brake application, enhancing stability and rider confidence.
