TVS Ronin Gets Price Cut to Boost Sales During Festive Season

TVS Motor Company has announced a price reduction for the base variant of the TVS Ronin to make it more accessible to potential buyers during the festive season. Additionally, the top variant has received an exclusive Midnight Blue color option.

The entry-level TVS Ronin SS has witnessed a price drop of Rs 14,000, bringing its ex-showroom price down to Rs 1.35 lakh. Here’s a breakdown of the variant-wise prices:

  • TVS Ronin SS: Rs 1.35 lakh
  • TVS Ronin DS: Rs 1.57 lakh
  • TVS Ronin TD: Rs 1.69 lakh
  • TVS Ronin TD Special Edition: Rs 1.73 lakh

Under the hood, the TVS Ronin is powered by a 225.9cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, SOHC engine that generates 20.4PS of maximum power and 19.93Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle is built on a double cradle split synchro stiff frame, ensuring stability and handling. Suspension duties are handled by 41mm USD forks at the front and a 7-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. The TVS Ronin rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with tubeless tires, providing a comfortable and confident ride.

Braking power comes courtesy of a 300mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear. Depending on the variant, the TVS Ronin offers single-channel or dual-channel ABS with rain and urban modes, along with normal and adjustable levers.

The TVS Ronin competes directly with the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, which is priced between Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom). With the recent price reduction, the TVS Ronin presents a compelling value proposition for those seeking a stylish and capable cruiser motorcycle.
