Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has expanded its electric vehicle lineup with the launch of the new Vida V2 electric scooter. Building on the success of its previous Vida V1 models, the V2 offers a more refined and feature-rich experience.
The Vida V2 is available in three variants: Lite, Plus, and Pro. The base Lite model, priced at Rs 96,000, is a new addition to the range, offering a 2.2kWh battery pack, a claimed range of 94km, and a top speed of 69kph.
The Vida V2 Plus, priced at Rs 115,000, features a 3.44kWh battery pack, a claimed range of 143km, and a top speed of 85kph. The top-of-the-line V2 Pro, priced at Rs 135,000, comes with a 3.94kWh battery pack, a claimed range of 165km, and a top speed of 90kph.
In terms of pricing and battery capacity, the Vida V2 competes directly with the TVS iQube 2.2 and Bajaj Chetak 2903.
Hero MotoCorp offers a 5-year/50,000km warranty on the Vida 2, while the battery pack is covered by a 3-year/30,000km warranty.
